I find that the majority books on the topic are either too heavy in stats and opaque equations or, on the contrary -- too superficial and merely give an summary enough to make you a more clever shopper of such analysis, but not prepare you to be a researcher yourself. This e book is a superb exception. I really loved this clearly written book as a result of it supplies a very sensible explanations of what to do, easy methods to do it and why. The math is stored to the bare minimum and each equation is nicely explained. It is properly organized and easy to follow.
I am, nevertheless, a bit dissatisfied that the creator selected to skip some points regarding them as "too tough for you, the reader" and didn't like the use of the generally didactic tone (feels just like the author was saying: this is really really difficult and you are not so shiny, so I will skip this subject altogether. You may understand if you find yourself older").
